Not just for Sunday

Below, we've listed a number of regular events which may be of interest to you or to a member of your family

Church isn't just for Sunday

Family service

10:30 every sunday at the church

This is a time of family worship for which the whole fellowship gathers for worship, prayer, and teaching

Children stay in for the first part of the service, then leave for classes in the junior church

Worship is led by our minister, Revd Terry Hinks and a variety of other ministers, lay preachers and members of the congregation.

Communion is celebrated on the second Sunday of the month and is open to all those who love the Lord.

Note that communion takes place once a month, and is open to all those who love the Lord

Link-up

Alternate Tuesdays (10:00-12:00) at the church

This is an event for anyone, although it is normally attended by people of non-working age

Founded in 1981 (Year of the Disabled), this group was originally intended to bring mentally and physically disabled people together, and this initiative has become an important and valuable part of church life

Always accompanied by tea and cakes, a wide variety of speakers are invited\

Events include: Quizes, occasional outings, demonstrations, talks on a variety of subjects, and of course, the opportunity to make new friends, and to catch up with old ones

Rainbow Coffee Shop

Every Wednesday 10:00 - 12:00 at Bourne End Community Centre

Another event at which all are welcome!

This is a joint initiative organized by churches in the area, and is an opportunity to gather together for coffee and chat

There is a Fair Trade stall, and a card stall

Please note that there is a small charge (for coffee and cake) for this event.

Bible Study Group

Every Wednesday 14:30 at 18, Orchard House

This study group provides an opportunity for us to study the bible in greater depth

Don't worry, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and we like to think of ourselves as supportive and encouraging

There is a prayer time, and the chance for a chat whilst enjoying a cup of tea

Table Tennis

Every Thursday 16:00 at the church

Whether you are a beginner, or a player of Olympic standard, you'd be very welcome at this event

There is no league, no teams, just the opportunity to play table tennis
