Walking around the Cotswold hills near Cirencester last summer, I popped into several cool, dim, stone-built, old churches for welcome sit down and to enjoy the quietness. In many of the church porches, I spied the Eco-church certificate.
This year we were pleased to receive the Silver award. To gain it, we have examined how the church can become greener. We’ve changed things from lighting, cleaning products, flower supplies, recycling, energy suppliers to tea and coffee.
We might feel helpless against climate change or global warming, but we can all try to do some small things that can help change the world.
