In the field behind the church, the combine harvester came through one day in July, maybe a little earlier than usual this year. We enjoyed blackberries in August and now apples are ripening.

Come and celebrate harvest on Sunday 25 September with a thanksgiving service at 10:30 AM followed by a shared lunch. Donations of foods or money will go to One Can and Christian Aid.

The Season of Creation is 1 September to 4 October (Saint Francis of Assisi’s day). It is a time to pray about our natural world and think on how we can change our habits to improve it.

Come and celebrate creation in the church meadow on Saturday 17 September. Starting with refreshments at 11:00 AM, you are invited to see what we have done in the meadow and learn about Eco-church and Quiet Gardens.
